We let the RescumliCons cheat a number of times in recent elections. Democrats win the popular vote but the racist-based electoral college steals our voices & our choices. So it is logical for some voters to conclude that their votes don’t count and justice isn’t served for the wealthy & politically connected. THAT should be the concern. In terms of the usual right wing terrorist threats if they can’t cheat….bring out the National Guard! Enough of these threats!
As hopeful as I am that this trial will start tomorrow, I can’t help but think something will happen to delay it. “He” predicts that “all hell will break loose” tomorrow; is this another call to action?? Will he or his lawyers fall ill? Will he fires his lawyers?
I have no confidence that Trump, even if he is found guilty, will actually go to prison. There is no accountability for rich white men’s crimes. All his cohorts in the insurrection are walking around free and many are part of Congress!!
I want to be hopeful, and he certainly does belong in prison. But he has never faced consequences from ANYTHING he's done, so I'll believe it when I see it.

I like the sound of Convicted Felon Trump. I'm hoping that we'll all be able to - and do - call him that. I've been pleased that the most recent efforts to disrupt the trial have all failed. I also hope that his lawyers stay on the case so we don't have to foot the bill for a public defender.
Regardless of the outcome, Trump will be exposed as a whiney, entitled, predator and bully who is so repugnant that he had to pay for sex. Stormy, Karen, Ivana, Marla and Melanoma all demanded cash from Stinky, some got more. some got less, but all got something. And they are only the ones we know about. This is devastating to Trump's persona as an alpha male.
Months ago, I reached that point where I could no longer read The Many Horrors of Trump, without considering the perspective of the four month old child Trump neglected to consider, relative to the ramifications of his covert actions way back when, and how it would reverberate worldwide in that child’s young adulthood, years later; the point “within which” (to borrow a favorite term from Michael Cohen) we find ourselves right now.
I, for one, surely hope that Melania (who evidently doesn’t give a shit about much) has been able to protect and shield young Barron from this horrible, inconsiderate and inconvenient truth faced by her and the youngest son of a madman, in some fashion, while all of these atrocities that his father has continued to perpetrate upon our country, all for his own gluttonous and foolish desires to be king, play out.
I firmly believe that trump would have been elected even if the story came out. He jumped the gun and look where it got him. Always has to go for the underhanded dirty tricks.
