Many just take their daily dose ,hold it in their mouths and then spit it out in a bottle and trade it for heroin. Methadone numbs the internal organs eventually the poor addicts tongue swells up so bad it's impossible to talk correctly and what's worse is the bowels and anus drop out of the rectum ,making them have to have surgery for the most painful death of a prolapsed rectum . You can't imagine what methadone does .
