If Mr. Trump keeps up his threatening behavior on the internet he should be found in Contempt prior to his trial. An ankle monitor, house arrest, no phone and no computer. If he violates these conditions, lock him up. Sadly, to keep the peace Her Honor must be shown to be giving him a chance. If he screws up, lock his ass up.
I agree. About the judge demonstrating that she is giving him a chance, I just have a couple of thoughts: 1) Keep the peace? What peace? 😂 Trump and his party of MAGA-heads has already destroyed the peace; 2) The main reason she must show that she is being fair to him as the Defendant is so that he has NO evidence whatsoever of a mistrial. Looks like she's already being just fair enough - she gave his lawyers a few days to respond to the protective order request - without giving him too much leeway (she would NOT grant extra time beyond that, as Dean pointed out).

His attorneys will learn at 5 pm tomorrow (Monday 08.07.2023) just exactly what thus justice, and thus trial, is ALL about. Frumpy violated the court instructions to him on his conditions for his release last Thursday a total of 4 tines in less than 24 hours. He’s so screwed! 🔩
Trump is counting on widespread fear of the repercussions of jailing him pre-trial. He is now stirring up his most radical, crazy supporters to go after Judge Chutkan (as well as witnesses.) If he doesn't get more than a slap on this wrist for these recent threats, there will be no limit to what he will say and do.
Yes and no. His only defense is that he has free speech even though Smith has made it clear the indictments are for actions, not speech. Nonetheless, if Trump were to be locked up for social media posts, three things could happen. First, the maggots would lose control and riot; second, it would strengthen the free speech defense; and finally it would complicate and delay Trump’s conviction. Delay is what he wants, so Smith isn’t taking this bait, just yet. Ie. I’m not convinced this breaking bail conditions isn’t a ploy to delay the trial.

Exactly! It’s between a rock and a hard place. Although I know his plan, I still would love to see him behind bars until the trial. Which means he would most likely never leave and we wouldn’t hear his whiny voice or see his ugly face.
It’s been made clear to Cheeto 45 about mouthing off and threatening witnesses and prosecutors. Apparently multiple warnings are useless with this giant screaming and whining baby. Maybe a few days without access to orange foundation, diet coke’s and chicken fingers will change his crap attitude and help snap him back into a less psychotic state
