Who We Are

I am the woman in the mirror, a face of survival,

A testament to strength, resilience, and grace.

Scars may mark my body, but they do not define me,

For within me burns a fire, bright and divine.

No longer a victim, I reclaim my voice,

In the face of darkness, I make my choice.

I rise from the ashes, I fight and resist,

To show the world that I cannot be dismissed.

Through the mirror's gaze, my power grows,

A spirit unbroken, refusing to bow low.

I am a warrior, unafraid and fierce,

No longer silenced, my truth will pierce.

No more hiding, no more bearing shame,

I stand tall, courageously proclaim.

Silence will not shroud me, nor be my fate,

My voice will echo, my strength reinstated.

In the depths of my being, I find the strength to fight,

To challenge the darkness, bring it to light.

For justice, I stand with unwavering might,

Together we rise, igniting a world so bright.

In the mirror's reflection, a fighter emerges,

A symbol of resilience, a voice that surges.

No longer defined by the pain I've known,

I am a survivor, my spirit has grown.

Let the world hear our battle cry,

For healing, for justice, we'll never comply.

In the mirror's embrace, we discover our might,

Together we stand, ready to ignite.

I am the woman in the mirror, unafraid,

A survivor's strength, a warrior's crusade.

No longer silenced, confined, or confined,

Together we rise, our voices intertwined.

Dean, I just penned this piece in support of E. Jean Carroll after her powerful testimony where she made it clear that she refuses to be silenced. She's determined to keep fighting and speaking out. She is the very definition of the women and men you are describing on your Substack.

If you haven't already, I highly recommend subscribing to her Substack. The intelligence and brilliance of her readers will truly amaze you.

The media is picking up stories of people like Cate Cox. There are other terrible tragedies of women dying who don’t merit the attention of the mainstream media.

I read the entire story... and thanks for sharing it. This person was not denied service, the article was clear in stating that an abortion was never asked for by anyone. This person was morbidly obese, she refused to take BP medication along with multiple actions that put her and her baby at risk.

This is clearly a situation that was avoidable but her legal status scared her from being a full-time prenatal patient.

She wanted to go to term, she refused medication, and you consider this as an example of the ban on abortion?

Expand full comment

The point was her doctors were barred from advising her that she needed an abortion.

Name one that was living in the USA when she was refused.

If this remarkable masterpiece doesn't inspire you about Biden and our victory in 2024, then nothing else will.

Dean articulates the truth with simple yet profound common sense.

Please share this rallying cry across Substack!

All of the women haters who glorify the end of Roe v Wade and the possibility of a national abortion ban need to remind themselves that the states' Child Support Agencies will be coming after them to pay child support; often by garnishing their wages. Pay up!

“Trump’s a loser”

He surely is! Yay! To Haley’s supporters! Louder!! It needs to catch on. There is little in life that simple! Trump is definitely a LOSER! 👏🏼👏🏼

You do know that Haley's just another Military Contractor controlled war pig, right. Gee, and how many new wars did trump start? Oh yeah, 0.

Good god, that’s one of the most singularly willfully ignorant comments I’ve read on Substack today (but the day is young still...)!

How many Americans died NEEDLESSLY because of Trump’s REFUSAL to take COVID-19 seriously? Estimates are that of the 1.2 MILLION that died, 500K could have been prevented by a prompt and vigorous response. Instead, Trump’s ONLY concerns were how it would affect HIS economy and how it would affect HIS political future. Period. 500K dead Americans is MORE than ALL American civilian and military deaths in World War II!

And let’s not forget Trump’s bungling of end negotiations in Afghanistan that put hundreds of thousands of Taliban back on the street. Let’s not forget the tens of thousands of lives lost when he sold the Kurds out to give Putin a victory in Syria. I could go on and on, but what’s the point? You’re disconnected from Reality and nothing I can state with easily verifiable FACTS will change your lack of analytical thinking. As the famous science-fiction writer Robert Heinlein said appropriately: “Never try to teach a pig to sing. You waste your time and you annoy the pig.”

The covid death rates were blown out of proportion from a combination of rigged and misleading data collection and the fact that the majority of people died not from the virus but from the hospital protocols themselves. Remdesivir is toxic and the "experts" and hospitals should have known that ventilators were only going to exacerbate the symptoms and worsen the condition of the patient with a respiratory infection. That's even before the rollout of the vaccines and subsequent mandates under Biden. "Vaccines" which we now know are entirely useless against Covid and which actually worsen people's health through cardiovascular damage and suppression of the gene which is responsible for suppressing tumors. I actually agree with you that Trump should of handled covid better. But not by fear mongering and handing it all over to the Pharmaceutical industry and shutting down our entire country for years and destroying the minds and souls of our youth, but by allowing real doctors, and not big pharma shills, to use off patent inexpensive drugs such as ivermectin and HCQ which not only treat covid but also counteract the damage caused by the vaccines, namely the onset of rapid and highly malignant cancers due to the antitumor suppression. At least a million people have already died from the vaccines rather than the virus itself when you look at the global trend in the rise of excess deaths in countries with high vaccine uptake.

And as far as the warfront goes, what I was trying to get across was that Trump didn't go out of his way to start new wars just so the military contractors could further enrich themselves with taxpayer money. The aid that we gave to Ukraine and now the clusterfuck surrounding Israel and Palestine and iran under Biden's watch is another slap in the face to the American taxpayer. My main point is I think we have a better chance of peace with him than the warmongering going on in the White House the past four years.

Lastly, your comment about me being a pig is just another example of the pure narcissism and lack of respect people have for their fellow human brothers and sisters in today's world. I don't defend Trump because I agree with him 100%. I just think our chances are much better with him than with the Biden administration.

Two quick things: I fully expected that you, clearly as a conspiracy theorist, would doubt EVERYTHING about COVID deaths. By the way, where did you get your PhD in virology or statistical analysis? Oh. Right. Let me guess: you’ve “done your research”. Google searching and YouTube videos don’t qualify in the medical world as a replacement for ACTUAL “research “.

And in regards to “pig”, I guess the idea of an analogy must be too difficult for you to parse. I didn’t call you a “pig”, I merely quoted a well-known writer’s analogy for how much a waste of time and fruitless it is to use Reason and Logic with a Cult Member. And your lengthy and misinformed response has only confirmed that.

In order to prove me wrong you actually have to show the evidence that refutes my claims.

It is very, very important that Democrats win, not just the White House, but also the House & Senate, and not in a squeaker but with a blowout. A filibuster proof majority in the Senate & a strong majority in the House is the only thing that will back us up from the brink of the GOP/billionaire brand of fascism, and operate as a check against a truly activist, corporatised Supreme Court. If we fail, there will be many more SCOTUS decisions like Dobbs v Jackson, Citizens United and the corporate fascist's erotic dream of overthrowing the Chevron doctrine, ridding corporations of pesky EPA climate regulations. The corporatists are also dreaming of neutering the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, arguably the most important economic agency in a free market economy. Unscrupulous businesses want the Court to rid them of the burden of having to avoid fraudulent business practices. With all the consumer scams we're subjected to: Medicare Advantage, exorbitant Student fees, Ad saturation of publicly owned airwaves, bank service ripoffs, corrupt politicians & justices; more relaxation by regulators is just what we need, if we want to continue down the path of a GOP autocratic bizarro world.

If only MSM would actually really talk about Trump's mental decline.

Dementia or Alzheimer's is no laughing matter...and I have to believe MAGA Republican leaders very aware of his deficits. Are they using him to win, and will they then use Article 25 to get rid of him, so his VP steps up?

All I know is that Democratic candidates and leaders need to get out and show America exactly what the Biden administration has done vs what the MAGA party has done and plans to do.

Expand full comment

You're not serious. It's literally Weekend at Bernies in the White House right now? Are you actually in such an echo chamber you don't see the outright projection in that statement?

Expand full comment

Jake,

The White House is not the problem. It's the MAGA Republicans in Congress who are breaking chaos.

Trump's dementia or Alzheimer's is serious and it's absolutely fair to wonder if Trump is being used to keep MAGA Republicans in power. He is a mess and they absolutely know it. Why wouldn't they relieve him of his duties using Article 25 and then put in the VP who will carry out everything MAGA wants? It's a valid question.

Thankfully, Biden doesn't need to wear diapers, tan his skin to hide whatever Trump's trying to hide behind the orangeness, or need people to lie about his weight. Biden doesn't speak in word salad or why away from talking about issues. Trump can't debate his opponents because he doesn't know anything about anything.

Every time I hear Nikki Haley's name I think "Where are the children?". Her dreadful defense of this policy is deplorable and the press should mention it often. Some of the children will never be found.

Expand full comment

Doesn't the fact that undeclared voters went out with the intent to stop Trump using Haley, and yet he won anyway despite that, actually strengthen the case that the average voter wants a Trump presidency in 2024? And also, you do realize that normal people can see through you trump derangement, right? If you keep on this path Trump will win in 2024. The leftists calling Wolf for the hundreth time now is backfiring. The left media solely revitalized his 2024 campaign by covering the ridiculous indictments against him which any judge worth their weight would have immediately thrown out with any other political figure. Normal Americans will vote for Trump. Not because he's trump but because he's the "fuck you" to the system that's been fucking normal people since as long as anyone can remember. It's why he won in 2016. It's why he'll win in 2024. How do you not get that by now?

I believe in life. Even in the womb however I use to believe that abortion was well ; God is the giver of life.

I now believe that young women and women of any age who are raped or a child also deserves life. Someone must speak for

that teenager or child who has been aggressively sexually wronged.

The government should not be a part of a woman’s and a Dr conversation.

When we feel strongly about life; I do believe God put a system here on earth to procreate. And that is a very sacred thing.

My situation is not another woman’s situation. But we all are in this together.

Woman , we are half of the world population.

This is a decision between you and God.

Let’s all be wise in who we vote for.

Thanks for listening
