That absolutely had a LOT to do with those 11 million missing Dem & Indie voters. I’m an old white woman in the SW, a progressive or liberal Democrat. I have zero connection to anyone of the Muslim faith, nor of Arab or Palestinian identity, but I am sickened & angry that my govt refuses to enforce our laws about weapon usage, & using starvation as a weapon when it comes to Israel. We denounce those war crimes if any other country in the world does them, but not Israel?? wth?
I was excited & supportive of Harris, & I donated, wrote postcards, & voted for her; but I just cringed every time she again & again pledged unequivocal support for Israel no matter what new atrocity would come to light.
I can’t imagine the hate I would feel if it was my family who were on the receiving end of those atrocities.
The Arab American, Palestinian, Muslim community represents 100s of thousands of votes in the states we needed to win. Harris wouldn’t have had to do much to give them the hope that she would take a different stance than Biden.
Then there was her letting her wealthy finance involved BIL convince her to soften her verbiage about increasing the tax rates on the wealthy. People noticed.
The Democratic Party had better get their act together & fast & go back to being the champion of the WORKING POOR & lower end of the middle class or we may not win a general election in a long, long time.
They must stop being in denial about the fact that the U.S. is not growing economically, it is not the major economic power it once was; the BRICS alliance is the emerging economic power. We must recognize that fact & make plans as to what we’re going to do about that.

The stagnation of real wages for the past 30 yrs, the enormous widening of the wealth gap. If Democrats refuse to do something about those things, they are just pushing us closer & closer to greater civil unrest & more violence than we’ve seen in our lifetimes.

Do not know if in my long lifetime the Dems ever had their act to together. I would not measure ‘act together’ by winning an election or finally getting through one or more legislative bills only to have them sabotaged by Repugnants later on as the Dems dropped the ball going around patting themselves on the back while the repugnant rats were growing in the sewers of the minds of the electorate, spreading disease and death.
Now it seems the rats are in full control. We do not have enough cats—read cat ladies—to stem this infestation.
