You're preaching to the choir here. Still freakin' out after reading those polls.

In the same poll this was reported, it is time for Biden to drop out.

A crosstab that caught our eye: When voters were asked who they’d vote for if Biden were not the Democratic nominee, the unnamed generic Democrat defeats Trump by 8 points (48% to 40%), and has the lead in all 6 battleground states. Full crosstabs

We have such a deep bench. I will vote for Biden but not happy about it. There are so many out there that would be excellent candidates--Whitmer, Newsom, Jeffries, etc. I was hoping when we worked so hard to get Biden in that he would be a caretaker for us until 2024. He has done a tremendous job but it’s time for the torch to be passed to a new generation of Americans as JFK said. I also saw an interview with Muslim American residents of Dearborn, MI. To a tee they all said they’ll leave that part of the ballot blank due to this support of Bibi, and providing weapons that Bibi will use with no regard for international law and civilian Palestinians. Michigan is an important state. Very disappointed about this cycle and why I am focusing more of my energy on Congressional and state races.

Jefferies is just another corporate tool. Whitmer probably will be. Newsome already is a corporate water carrying pretty boy. How very Democratic Party constituent of you. Nominate the wrong candidate is what we do. Why governors? If we don’t go with a true progressive soon, that percentage of the party, which granted is small, but it is the margin of victory is going to stay home. #WarrenPorter2024.

Trump will probably deport all the Muslims out of the country or send them to camps. Seriously, he will do what he's telling us he will do. So....I guess the Muslim community will show Biden, but their life will be miserable under trump.

Of the young people I've spoken to none intend to vote for Biden (or anyone else) in 2024. The reason each of them give is that it is because of Biden's strong stand with Bibi Netanyahu and Biden's ineffectuality in getting Netanyahu to stop killing innocent Palestinians.

Do they not know that any Republican would happily drop The Bomb on Gaza?

Maybe like most Progressives, they’re sick and tired of voting against something or someone. Those of us who understand good government and quality policy Would love to vote for something at least once our their life. Tribalism brought us to this shit show. Blue and red.

I agree and appreciate your deep response. In everything. Biden does not control this and whatever he says will not change any behaviors so he might as well say the right things.

Right now, seeing the orange man as vile and disgusting as ever and more so, Biden seems the only choice. However, Israel and it's sadistic form of Fascist Sadism, it's violations of countless international proticols (in other words war crimes) done with America's approval (keep me out of it) leaves him out of consideration as well. The only tiny hint that it MIGHT change are some of Biden's hints over the last 24 hours that failure to comply with international law may eliminate or negatively affect his support. One evening in Cambridge I met a black brother who called me brother and who is running. If things stay the same, I will vote for him or not vote at all. W.C. Fields had his own idea of how to conduct the election: Both candidates stand in the Rose Bowl and throw socks full of dung at one another until one concedes. That now seems appropriate.

The young people are the ones who will spend most of their lives living under an authoritarian government. I won't feel sorry for them.

Unless one of the two parties adopts, a viable climate change policy, the young people will never lived in rolled. That’s the crux of the matter. Statistically until the Democratic Party adopts policy that will restore the public, and save complex life on the planet from the eminent climate crisis, and the mass extinction we are in the middle of, they are the same.

I had to read this a couple of times before I'm willing to come down out from the tree tops. Lord how I wish those people would just secede. This harsh reality is they are still the Confederacy and this time we're stuck with them.

Joe beat Trump in 2020. WE beat Trump in 2020. All we have to do is TURN OUT THE VOTE. Work every single day to identify every single vote and turn out every single one. No excuses. No clutching our pearls. I swear the find all the Trump supporters to give us agita. There are many, MANY, more of us than them. Joe Biden is a great politician because he has decades of experience. Make it feature, not a weakness. Let's tell our story, his story, and quit carrying water for the MAGA crazies. I will not buy in to this pro-Trump propaganda. Keep up the good work, Dean.

Too early to believe the polls -- and let's dig deeper. Who answers the phone call of an unknown caller?? - - Actually, I phone bank a lot, so thankfully some do! :-) And we can only imagine how much the Russians love this -- also, tRump wants to get rid of the CONSTITUTION! DEMOCRACY IS on the ballot, along with gun safety, reproductive rights, climate funding, infrastructure...AND if you look at the economy numbers (per Simon Rosenberg of Hopium Chronicles), we're doing damn great! Anyone paying attention wants wisdom, leadership, stability. MSM -- Stop treating tRump as a normal candidate for God's sake!!!

Voting is absolutely critical in '24. But Democracy's future will, ironically, depend on democracy's present. This is something the GOP, right-wing media, morbidly rich mega-donors, the former guy, anti-abortionists, red state congresses and judiciary, Christian Nationalists, racists, and white supremacists are making its destruction Job One.

Absurd, it’s Fascism HERE or Biden. That is the choice. Biden cannot perform magic when we are (unfortunately) so tied in to Israel for Intelligence & more! We would not have ANY influence in Israel if there was an about face. Taking one issue when we are on the precipice of full on Fascism without a strong win is irresponsible! We must be sure everyone down ballot is a real progressive to get the changes we need implemented. Biden has achieved a shocking amount of progressive wins (thanks in part to Bernie’s influence) Way too much is at stake here. Just what Putin wants! A divided Dem Party! On the plus side, I’ve never seen this level of push-back for the Palestinians. The Israeli lobby is very strong here. But I think we are witnesses a change in direction.

Arab-American like you Dean, and committed progressive who has done my share of GOTV for Democratic candidates for the last 20 years. I’m done after Gaza. I’m just angry over the treachery of our supposed allies, and the aggressive incitement to racism and Islamophobia by Democratic politicians. I’d sooner eat broken glass than vote for Biden. The Party needs to stop supporting apartheid and genocide. It should not be this hard

And a Trump victory will make your life better? Trump is already saying what he'll do to the Muslim community. Geez...cut off your nose to spite your face. Just don't complain to us about Trump when your community allows his win.

Not arguing. If the Democrats want my vote, don’t nominate a war criminal. We have no illusions about Trump and what that means for our community. Under Biden, our community is in the crosshairs, we are the sole bipartisan target for discrimination and hate crimes. Under Trump, lots of communities (including ours) are in the crosshairs, which at least reduces some of the pressure on us.

I'm sorry for your community. Just keep in mind that Trump would have made things worse than they are now. It would not have been better. He has specifically mentioned his plans for the Muslim & Palestinian community. The hate directed at your community will be worse under Trump.

My family is Hispanic & I worry for our community and my son. It's already bad right now since Trump made it ok to show such hate.

I haven't read article because polls are full of dog crap!! All of the idiots on corporate propaganda say the polls haven't been right for several years but they and you sure do talk a lot about the worthless polls...kind of like the worthless news which isn't news but peoples opinions. I know how excellent President Biden is. Corporate propaganda media will never talk good towards President Biden.

Additionally - the Biden campaign needs to speak about the individual recovery act parts that are amazing. The investments in infrastructure across the country - Medicare negotiating drug prices, brining jobs back to America. He needs to talk about all these individual things he is doing as well as saving Democracy for our children!

In '24, prepare for an onslaught of TRUMP flags and yard signs, trivializing those of '20 and '16. Further, prepare for the removal and destruction of your own Dem paraphernalia by said supporters. Dare not, though, consider any mayhem against the GOP brand, lest you find yourself on the wrong end of an AR-15.

The polls showed Obama Care would make Obama one term President and that obviously wasn't true.

The polls by major news brands are Junk and weighted to sell newspapers and clicks on the internet.
