I don't know who the leader of the free world is anymore, but it's not the US.

Let’s not normalize calling him President-elect. Felon-elect works for me, or just trump. After noon on January 20th I will retire saying/typing “President” (when referring to trump) until noon on January 20, 2029. Then he’ll just be the former convicted felon.

I will be wearing this "isn't it past your jail time?" t-shirt the next four years 👇

He must commit several crimes a day. He doesn't know how to do things the legal way. However, since we seem to have no other recourse at the moment, I suggest that we mock him relentlessly. That he will not like.

In addition to mocking him, how about impeaching and removing him from office

as soon as he commits his next crime

(that can easily be argued is not part of his presidential duties)?

Good luck with that. The crooked, corrupt Supreme Court will tell you that anything he does is part of his official duties.

It’s an Honest to Goodness conspiracy. The Congress fell down on the job first, the DOJ secondly, the Administration took no over site, and corrupt judges failed to recuse properly or protect the Constitution, both parties are totally paid for by Oligarchs and foreign enemies, and the Russian Mafia is calling the shots. I think Judge Merchan's hands were tied - he did the best he could do under the circumstances. I am also certain that trump cheated to win the last election, in addition to having his buddy elon buy the election. I certainly don't expect fewer crimes in the future. I just hope that Letitia James holds him to the fines he owes, and that E. Jean Carrol doesn't quit either (I seriously doubt that she will). By making sure the sentencing happened, Judge Merchan actually did punish trump: he made sure that trump forever has a neon sign on his forehead that says "LOSER!!!!!". That hits him in his deepest core. In that sense, the sentence was a good one.

I don’t have enough bad words to say against 47, except that America is made up of 2 no 3 kinda of people, 1 - those that believe and defend the rule of law, 2 - those who are not concerned and just float through life and 3- then there are the majority of Americans who are just like Trump, they have all grifted someone in their lives probably their parents, they have all cheated someone for a better position in life, probably their parents or close family member and those who break all the rules when it comes to being faithful to their spouse. I have just described all the people who voted for 47 and thinking the next 4 years will give them the opportunity to continue their debacles and lying without penalty. The sentencing of this trial is shameful and a slap in the face for those of us that truly value democracy. 🤬

He knows that those who seem loyal to him are only loyal to themselves and can be swayed by a better deal. He is friendless and loveless, and always has been. He knows that no one respects him for himself, but only for the power he has. Worst of all, his mind is turning on him, he's making embarrassing mistakes and BEING LAUGHED AT BY MILLIONS. He knows, deep down, that forcing people to treat him better with threats, may work in the short term, but is ultimately meaningless, empty and hollow. You speak the truth Dean. DJT has been a criminal his entire life. He comes from a long line of criminals. When one is raised with no morals, anyone acting morally is looked down upon with disdain. That is what he believes to his core. I would say to his soul, but he doesn’t possess one. This is why he talks like that. It is why he acts so hateful. The time for a chance of moral character change passed many, many years ago. He and his gang have plans. They are more experienced now. But they forget one thing, we are also. And we know bad things are coming. We will do battle. On the Judge. I believe he played it beautifully. Take this to the bank! If the Judge would have required the convicted criminal felon to perform 4 hours of service at the local public library, he would have walked away totally free & unmarked. It would have given the corrupt bought off Supreme Court a reason to save him. DJT is now branded across that big coconut, FELON! Forever. And it chaps his ass. Well, DJT. Get ready. The ridicule & the great jokes are coming. And in case you forgot, Hell is waiting. But, the Devil knows it is a very, very short wait. Tick Tock, Tick Tock!

Merchan should have handed down a prison sentence, and the federal Marshals could lead him straight to custody.

Spare me the 'policy' of immunity. It is only policy, not a law written in ink, or chiseled in stone.

I know that there is no precedent for a President, or a 'President-elect' being jailed, but a conviction on 34 charges with no prison time is a more dangerous precedent by far.

Trump in prison, let the courts deal with the mess.
