Trump’s new administration will be filled with losers—literally.
Trump knows losers are Loyal
Donald Trump loves losers. At least that is a big take away from the people he has tapped for his new administration. Sure, there are some other non-loser types he has chosen to head government agencies like his billionaire brigade of wealthy oligarchs. But being a loser truly tops the list—and I mean that literally.
Trump has selected for key positions people who have in the past run for office—often with Trump’s backing—only to chalk up a “Big L” as in “loser.” Trump has now bestowed upon these political losers the ultimate “participation trophy” of a plum position in his new regime. Why would Trump do that? The obvious reason is that these losers knew their political futures were limited—if not over--but by Trump scooping them up from the bottom of the political waste bin, he knows they will deliver what he demands: Loyalty.
For starters, there is two-time loser Kari Lake who Trump picked last week to lead the Voice of America. Lake has shown a unique version of submissive loyalty to Trump over the years from literally vacuuming the red carpet Trump was about to walk on to telling an audience Trump has “BDE”--which loosely translates into big penis energy. Trump endorsed Lake when she ran for governor in 2022—which she still refuses to admit she lost-- —and again in 2024 when she ran for US Senate in Arizona. Lake lost both races, but she won the loser Olympics by sucking up to Trump enough to lock up a visible job with his incoming administration.
Then we have Dr. Mehmet Oz, who Trump endorsed in the 2022 race for US Senate in Pennsylvania. Oz--who is best known for hosting a TV show and peddling questionable medical advice- lost that race by 5 points. But despite losing his run for Senate—and having no experience running a sprawling government agency- Oz is now Trump’s choice to serve as administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services with annual spending of $2.6 trillion.
Other losers Trump has tapped for his team include Trump lawyer Alina Habba, who will serve as “counselor to the President.” While Habba never ran for office, she did represent Trump in two visible cases over the past year and lost both—badly. Habba was Trump’s lawyer in the E. Jean Carroll defamation/sexual assault case where Trump was hit with an $83 million judgement. And she repped Trump in his business fraud case in New York where he was ordered to pay more than $350 million. That means in the past year, Habba lost two cases that cost Trump nearly a half billion dollars in judgements! Habba is Trump’s biggest loser from a money point of view.
We can’t forget U.S. Senator Marco Rubio—who Trump has nominated as his Secretary of State. Trump not only beat Rubio in the 2016 race for the GOP presidential nomination, but he also cruelly and repeatedly ridiculed Rubio in that campaign. Who can forget Trump badgering Rubio as “Little Marco” or writing about Rubio on Twitter, “once a choker, always a chocker! Mr. Meltdown.” And in the 2016 GOP presidential primary, Trump trounced Rubio in his home state of Florida by nearly 46% to 27%--prompting Rubio to drop out of the race. That is what losing looks like.
Trump’s loser showcase also includes a few Democrats like former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, who Trump nominated to serve as his Director of National Intelligence. Gabbard ran for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination and not only lost--but got destroyed. She never won more than 4 percent of the vote in any contest except in tiny American Samoa--where she had been born. Gabbard was such a loser that by the time she dropped out in March 2021, FiveThirtyEight.com put it this way: “Many people might be surprised to learn that Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard was still running for president.” Gabbard has gone from no political future to now a high ranking position in Trump’s regime because she endorsed him in 2024 over the Democratic presidential candidate.
But wait, the loser palazzo is just getting warmed up. There is also Lee Zeldin--who Trump picked to head the Environmental Protection Agency. Trump had backed Zeldin in his 2022 run for Governor of Trump’s home state of New York, but like the other Trump losers, Zeldin lost.
Before Kelly Loeffler was Trump’s current pick to head the Small Business Administration, she ran in Georgia in 2020 for the U.S. Senate with Trump’s endorsement. How did she do? She lost-and has been barely heard from since.
And Trump’s choice for Secretary of Health and Human Services, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., lost--in essence--not once but twice in the 2024 presidential campaign. First, Kennedy ran against President Joe Biden for the 2024 Democratic presidential nomination. But when it became clear he was losing badly, he dropped out in October 2023 and mounted a run for President as an Independent. But by August 2024, Kennedy was polling a pathetic 5 percent in national polls and so he dropped out of the race all together and endorsed Trump. That’s two “L’s” in one campaign.
A few of other losers Trump picked include his choice for secretary of the Interior Doug Burgum who did miserably in his run for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination—polling in the single digits. And Mike Huckabee, Trump’s choice for ambassador to Israel—who ran for the GOP nomination for President in 2008 and again in 2016. Both times he did what Trump’s other losers did: He lost.
Finally, there is Kimberly Guilfoyle, Trump’s recent pick for his choice to be ambassador to Greece. But this is more personal losing than political. Guilfoyle is the fiancée of Trump’s son Donald Jr.—which on its own may qualify her as being a loser. However, recent media reports tell us that Donald Jr., is now dating a socialite named Bettina Anderson. The British tabloid The Daily Mail published photos of Trump’s younger son holding hands with Anderson, describing this as “incontrovertible proof the soon-to-be First Son has moved on.” Only time will tell if Donald Jr. and Guilfoyle are still together or is she also a “loser” with her ambassadorship to Greece being a parting gift?
For a guy who claims he loves winning, Trump really does like to surround himself with a bunch of losers. But that is by design. Trump loves loyalty and he knows no one will be more loyal than losers who were on their way to obscurity.
Loyalty of the Losers. Governance by Incompetence. Lord Save Us.
I hope they all lose whatever remaining careers they have after 4 years. They haven't been paying close attention with his former administration. Or they don't care. Just to dance with the devil, Antichrist himself.
