Oh isn't it EXACTLY how it is.. trump in a nutshell.. and then you look at what Biden has done, no comparison.. then you look at what trump wants to undo, everything Biden did. What's going on in America is completely insane.

And the MSM keeps giving twice impeached, convicted and indicted Trump a pass, while continually undercutting Pres. Biden and his huge record of accomplishments. FFS.

Yes, unreal isn't it, Scott. I have followed trump since 2016 from the UK, I've been shaken from what he did, and then Covid, I was so shocked.

What two things are not the same? Joe Biden joining the picket line in Detroit and Trump delivering his usual rant in a nonunion plant in front of maybe 50 MAGA UAW members paid to be present and the rest of the crowd made up of the MAGA Deadheads that go to every rally. What Biden is doing is EPIC and will not be forgotten by UAW members or union members everywhere. What Trump is doing is a slightly new version of the same old bullshit.

If only the corporate media would recognize the difference and report it truthfully.

I can hardly wait to see how Kristen Welker both sides this to death on Sunday, if she doesn't just portray it as a big win for Trump.

Corporate media is owned by the very wealthy. They aren’t interested in Biden and continuously undermine him and coddle Trump because of the economic benefits to themselves and their corporations.

Awesome accounting for Trump’s anti-union record, contrasted with Pres. Biden’s pro-union record.

You only left out: naming Eugene Scalia as Secretary of...Labor. Scalia the Son tried to make it the Dept. of Anti-Labor.

Thank you for doing this. I will be sharing it with my fellow union sisters and brothers.

Dean, I'm asking all members of the media class to STOP using Rump's name... stop showing his image...stop making us listen to his voice. In other words STOP PROMOTING THE MONSTER. I lectured at Harvard, MIT, and NYU about Media Literacy. Every mention and image is just promotion because that's how the human mind receives the info.

Each mention, each appearance is just propelling him back into the WH.

Be creative and refer to him in other words (TFG or the orange maniac, or whatever...) Do not flash pics of his face or god help us, that body... Report ABOUT him, but kindly stop promoting him inadvertently.

Thanks for hearing me out.

Thank you, Dean Obeidallah, for this well-documented (by union research!) report on tfg's lifelong attacks on Labor and on laborers. Would that every working-class American could read it, although many probably would view it as liberal propaganda.

MIchael Moore summarizes the dilemma of the billionaires perfectly today on his substack.

Too bad MSM wouldn’t acknowledge this fact and call TFG out instead of just letting that Main fact slip by

To be clear, the supposed union workers at that rally were nothing of the sort. What I recall is that they were in fact non-union workers holding signs implying they were union members, given to them by the Trump campaign knowing full well they were non-union (and some of them were campaign staff), and paid to be there as part of the campaign’s payment to the non-union shop where it took place. The level of contempt Trump, his campaign, and his MAGA cronies in Republican leadership have for his own supporters is breathtaking — not to mention the contempt Fox, Newsmax and RSBN have for their viewers.

One would think that Bidens visit to the UAW strikers would have warranted a cover page story in the New York Times today. But NOOO. Trump sells.

Excellent accounting of contrasts between Biden & Trump/GOP, Dean. Ever the con artists, the Trump GOP use the, "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore" [hook] to capture working class support. Workers are finally starting to catch on that the GOP's naming of problems has nothing to do with any intention to improve them. The GOP has long mislead voters. However, since Trump came on the scene, they just flat out lie. Since the 80's and the hostile government take over, initiated by Reagan and Koch wealth, media has gradually been more and more in the bag for corporate interests, and against those of working voters and people of middle class and lower means. (If this were before 1980 and the beginning of the takeover, Trump's corruption & GOP deceptiveness would have a hard time polling at 20%) Joe Biden has been making a mighty effort to reverse that hollowing out trend, his success depends on the voices of people like us. Dean speaks truth to power.

I hope you are right I would be willing to bet that most union workers are Trumpers.
