Curious if this guy got a chunk of change from someone associated with Trump's campaign. What are the odds 2 attempts within months of each other... Highly suspicious ..

I thought the alleged shooter was paid because he wasn’t killed like the previous alleged assassin! Also did the campaign look for a Republican that made donations to the Democrats? The in PA the Secret Service notice the shooter on a roof not a hundred yards away and now they see the barrel of the gun 500 yards away? Trump’s campaign is assuming we are all as gullible as their MAGAs! Enough!!

In addition, there are three possible Trump International golf courses Trump could have been at that day near Mar-a-Lago. How did the shooter know to go to that one. He had been there since 2:00 a.m. that morning. Trump wasn’t even within gun shot range when he stuck the rifle out of the bushes, and the Secret Service miraculously saw it 500 yds away. The only shots fired were from the USSS officer. It all sounds too fishy!

Expand full comment
Barbara Shirley's avatar

The SS person who spotted the weapon was advance walking the perimeter of the golf course and saw a gun barrel poking a few inches out of the bushes on the fence line near the next tee. He didn’t spot it from 500 yds. Trump was on another tee 500 yds. away and would have moved to the next tee nearer the shooter’s lair. The SS person fired into the bushes where the gun barrel protruded and the shooter bolted to his car.

It’s quite possible that Trump et al applied lessons learned from Putin, who finds useful idiots to carry out subversive actions and/or hit jobs. The obviously unstable Routh appears to have craved heroic status, ie., “saving Ukraine” (the military rejected his offers, he was too much of a kook). So why not offer this guy fame and fortune, promises to get him out of jail, if he just set up the appearance of an attempted assignation?

This attempt now provides apparent permission for J.D.Vance to claim that the only difference between conservatives and liberals is that no one has attempted to assassinate anyone on the left, essentially a dog whistle to those who are salivating over doing so.

My God. What SNAKES.

Remember the old days when an assassination, or attempt (JFK, MLK, RFK, Ford, Reagan, John Lennon, to name a few), created a storm of demanding investigative jurnalism, medical reports, ballistic reports, and more. From the attempt in PA we got a private Dr's comments and an ear that healed with regenerative swiftness. If there was ANY remaining damage or scar, he would be having masses of photos taken. (Any AI photos would have him with 3 right ears and varying types of damage.) 😠😤

Collateral damage. They don't care if anyone else gets hurt or killed. If it makes the scenario more dramatic and effective, then it's just fine if others get killed in the process. Just think, how does the shooter (with a scope, and accounting for wind variables, distance etc.) hit a guy in the audience BEHIND Trump's billboard sized fat orange ass and then doesn't get a total body mass shot accomplished???? Does that make sense??? No, it doesn't. It makes no sense when you consider JFK'S assassination. The shooter was much further away and accomplished a head shot on a moving target!! Trumputin was basically a stationary target. It doesn't add up. Plus, we'll never know other details because they conveniently killed the shooter.....no loose ends. Smells like Roger Stone to me.

My question is to Republicans: If you have any suggestions on how to prevent this sort of thing from happening again, I’m all ears.* Until then, in the words of Stonekettle, if you don’t care about guns near schools I don’t care about guns near Trump. This is the world you wanted.

This whole event is bull shit. A contrived event from a serial liar. Google earth the golf course. Look at the surrounding streets (3) that parallel the course and you tell me how a guy parks a car (where) got out with a rifle, a backpack, and wasn’t noticed? How the fuck did he know Trump was even there? I mean it’s not like they post his schedule for the average Joe so he can take a shot at him. The shots fired were from the SS agent and the (supposed) shooter dropped the rifle, then why is it leaning against the fence in the picture? So much BS it stinks here in Kansas and I can smell it.
