I’ve been saying much of this over the last few weeks, as discussion of Sec. 3 of the 14A has moved into the discourse.
Consider just these three acts alone as disqualification: his deliberate and deadly inaction for several hours on Jan. 6; his video that day wherein he states, “We love you very much”; and, as you’ve cited, his repeated promises to pardon the Jan. 6 seditionists. Beyond whether or not he engaged in insurrection on Jan. 6, he has provided “aid or comfort”, and continues to do so.
A plain reading of the section disqualifies him. In fact, he has disqualified himself.
We citizens must participate and make certain that tfg and his fellow traitors are not allowed to be employed in or by any US governmental agency via election, appointment, or contract. I believe we should also apply this law to every one of the 147 Republicans who failed to support the outcome of the 2020 election as 66 legal challenges provided both legal proof and legal verdicts that the election was fair, binding and legitimate. By voting against a fair and legal election didn’t they provide aid and support to a traitor.

(Couldn’t this also apply to others like Senators, State Senate,House, County,County, and Town offices where/if candidates marched on the Capitol or sent monies to defend insurrectionists?). After all, The Constitution is The Constitution, isn’t it?

And he also has support in Republican states with their attorney generals, so getting a referendum on this is going to be difficult. But do we need it to be unanimous? I don't think so.
However, I intend to contact my Attorney General here in Michigan and make my own complaint that under this statute there's no legal way that Trump can be placed on the ballot in 2024.

Those submissions will appear on the ballot unless a court says otherwise.
Minnesota law provides a separate legal process, found at Minn. Stat. 204B.44, which allows one or more people to challenge in court the eligibility of a candidate to appear on a ballot. We will continue to honor the outcome of that process, as we have in the past.

“For candidates seeking election to federal office, convictions of insurrection or treason are disqualifying factors. Here, however, no judicial determination has been made that would allow the Secretary of State to exercise his authority and refuse candidacy.”
