By popular demand I added Gov Janet Mills. She did in fact punch Trump in the face and deserves the recognition!

So proud of my great state of Maine! Governor Mills has always been a fighter and a champion of the people. She does NOT suffer fools!

I think more Governors there should have stood up in support of her.

And did it to his face — what a sight!

Maine governor Janet Mills, an older white woman being bullied by the freak at an official WH event. Socked him right in the kisser. But she stood alone. The crowd was silent. Cowards. We need to have the backs of those facing down the tyrant.

Exactly! And Elon has the salute … so we’re nearly set, just gotta find a deal on those black helicopters.

I’m waiting for them to re-institute the draft. Maybe that will wake everybody up.

Unless, of course, one has those pesky bone spurs … an ailment apparently quite popular with patriots.

I believe conscription will be in order - just before the midterms.

👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 more please! Anybody catch the Governor of Maine? 🤩 So satisfying to watch Dumpty's sneering cowardice called out to his gross orange face 🤡

I'm from Maine and am a former New Yorker. I'm so proud of Governor Mills and Governor Hochul. Please point out Governor Mills' response in your next newsletter. She didn't back down to trump when he asked her if she was going to comply with his anti-trans nonsense.

I'm not a constituent, but I emailed her a big thank you for standing up to Mango Mussolini!

Me too! She had him fumbling over his mobster blather.

I’m a former New Yorker in New Hampshire. I’m very proud of her and ashamed of the governor here. Labeling me, not my governor.

I'm getting tired of seeing NH vote for a GOP governor. I hope that NH wakes up!

Governor Mills, who rebutted Trump in person, deserves mention. She made all of Maine proud yesterday.

Badges of honor goes to Mills and Pritzker for their fortitude in standing with the people and not with a make-believe king.

Punch harder every day.

Kudos to these two governors and a former pro sportsman for standing up to tRump. If this is what it takes to ‘get the attention’ of everyone who claims to be against him…so be it! Today 3, tomorrow 6, the day after 12 and so on and so on…!

Wasn’t Kuwe great?? I think it was Rachel Maddow who had him on her show last night. He pulled a great move which reminded me of Colin Kaepernick!

Yes, now that you mention it. 🤔

What a disgusting pig dump is, threatening the Governor of Maine like the pompous, buffoonish wanna-be king he is. And does he really think combing that dead ferret on his head like he does is fooling anyone? Shave it off like a real man would.

The way Musk’s DOGE is going about agency personnel cuts is the equivalent of thinking we all need to lose 30 pounds & deciding to saw off legs arbitrarily. What Trump & Musk are doing will hurt millions of people in ways that we’re only beginning to see.

https://www.commoncause.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/FireMuskPoster_8.5x11.pdf

Asked whether it was trained on data from the federal government obtained by DOGE, Musk’s Grok 3 AI responded that “it’s plausible that data DOGE accessed could have flowed to xAI projects like Grok 3.”

Couldn't say it better than Anat Shenker-Osorio 2/21/25: "Trump & the billionaires who bought him, Musk...are coming for your life & your livelihood...your freedom...your privacy...your information. And he is conducting a hostile takeover of our government so he can take our money.” https://youtube.com/shorts/iZuYdpmjpKU?si=Mmm_1Vtd7AE5sHV7

Trumpism must die.

Government by the bullies for the billionaires. She’s so right.

Bravos all around! Over this past 10 years, it has been proven over and over again that Trump is particularly vulnerable to criticism … and especially humor (a decade’s tirade against SNL!).

To mangle one of Trump’s mangled phrases (at Gettysburg), “Have at it, me boys, let ‘em have it.”

Expand full comment

He's particularly susceptible to women's criticism! I believe he actually hates women. Thinks they're only good for 1 thing....okay maybe 2 things.

Expand full comment

Yes, indeed! Remember the debate with Kamala Harris? With one line she detached Trump from his tentative grasp on reality. She pushed his buttons … as did Stacy Adams, Nancy Pelosi. I think he’s actually terrified of women.

Not a fan of football, but Kluwe has suddenly become my favorite football player.

And now I'm adding Pritzker to my list of acceptable candidates for President (should we ever have another election not fixed).

Anyone else talking about all of the women who are taking a stand - we are just seeing some men come around but really giving him a kick in the teeth all seem to be women. Congratulations, and keep up the good work! Come on, gentlemen, keep up!

Dean, There's a left hook to the head that to date only a small band of election integrity activists are trying to land--

Does it make sense to ANYBODY that given the myriad ways Republicans disenfranchise voters, their complete abandonment of any mutually followed rules of fair play, the obvious fact that they don't believe in our form of government, Rove proudly proclaiming that they create their own reality, that with all that, having stolen and disseminated proprietary voting and tabulating software that they WOULDN'T manipulate election results that way too? In what world does that possibly make a lick of sense? That would be a million percent inconsistent with every single thing they do.

In Rockland Co. NY, Ramapo district 35, according to the official election results--

Trump got 562 votes or 99.64%

Gillebrand got 331 votes or 79.38%

Harris got 0 votes or 00.00%

Those are Putin numbers. Not credible.

Expand full comment

Obviously fabricated results. I think they were widespread. Likely vote manipulation by Musk, Mercer or Putin.

Don't forget yesterday a 3rd Governor stood up to him -- what indeed happened to states' rights? -- I guess I sat in my rocker casually rocking thru the November election cause my memory was the termination of pregnancy, which I thought was a medical decision between a woman and her doctor, should be decided by each state individually was the campaign mantra of the current occupant -- I thought the Republican/and/ or/ Dixiecrat southern governors' position during the civil rights movements of the 1960-70 era was that the Uncivil War of the prior century and the reconstruction battles thereafter were about states' rights to be left alone and govern themselves, not about enslaving other human beings -- just in that particular era the states' rights involved had to do with human bondage, but no matter -- they were fighting for a principle -- of states' rights which transcended the moral imperative of a particular "legal" issue - so long as we followed the Constitution and did not take rights away -- It took nigh on to 100 years to sort out that separate but equal did not legally comply with the Constitutional standard -- anyone who thinks this mess is going to be resolved tomorrow is dreaming - all you can do is pick your battles carefully and remember the direction of the moral arc of history - neither Governor Mills nor I (two elderly ladies) are likely to see this whole mess created with a chainsaw legally resolved in our lifetimes

Silly, didn't you know that only red states have state's rights?

So did an Arizona attorney general, who gave quite a good speech against Trump's lawlessness herself.

Actually in another of his authoritarian l'etat c'est moi moments, DT started to say "I am" the law before he changed it to "We are the federal law". Neither is true of course. The former surely further reveals the true nature of this despicable person.
