They aren’t as many as they seem. There are more people that aren’t registered to vote than people that are. They are living their lives with no idea what is happening bc they don’t pay attention to politics. They will be blindsided and angry along with the low info voters that will realize they were lied to! And we are the much bigger half of the country who is capable of kindness and compassion.
This is nothing we didn’t know before. It’s just that it becomes more prevalent all the time. This is what our country wanted. And this is what we’ll get. The repercussion of this dynamic will contaminate the United States for generations to come and beyond.
How do you propose that we begin to undermine this regime? How do we stop the “taking over” of Greenland, etc.? We need a plan to end this now, before it is cemented into law…. Suggestions?
And how do we citizens stop this plutocracy? We have been warned and it is here. Some senators and reps are all in. "Voting for the right people in 2026" is too late. What now?
How to stop them? Maybe stop feeding these swollen ticks little bits of our blood daily. Ticks named X, PenPal, Facebook, Google, TicketMaster, Amazon and so many more ticks sapping the life energy of Corpus America.
I have been hoping, going on for decades now, that people will stop worshipping power and money and come to the realization that billionaires will never love them back. Sometimes I see green shoots of such an awakening, but spring has yet to arrive.
At 81, me, too! I am saddened for the future of my 31 year old niece who drove me to the polls and voted so proudly with me for Harris/Walz (in deep red Alabama). I am searching for peace of mind with kindred spirits and cleansing my mind of DONALD TRUMP.
You guessed it! That’s all he want to do now; play golf and watch the money roll into his pockets. I’m just trying to outlive his butt to see how much of that he manages to take with him.
So many things are deteriorating it is difficult to keep track. But there are things we can do. Here is a BIG ONE:
BLUE ALERT! 38 states have ratified the ERA. All Biden has to do is order the national archivist to publish it and the ERA is our 28th amendment! The ERA can protect women when T rolls back Title VII and Title IX.
I’d love to believe all it’ll take to make the ERA our 28th Amendment is publication by the national archivist. But I doubt it. I can easily imagine more lawsuits to immediately begin because five Republican controlled states rescinded ratification. Virginia was the 38th state to ratify ERA January 27, 2020, thanks to a Democrat trifecta and a majority Democrat General Assembly (underscoring elections DO have consequences). Since then, litigation by well-funded dark money conservative republican entities notorious for curtailing legislation addressing affirmative action, economic equality and reproductive rights, have ensued. From my perspective, as an ordinary Jane Schmoe, it seems as though if ERA becomes our 28th Amendment will ultimately end up in the hands of our current majority MAGA-light SCOTUS, or the incoming WH trifecta MAGA-majority. 😔
I just dropped Instagram and Threads and Facebook will be deleted within the next couple of days. 3 people in my household have Amazon Prime accounts and 2 have closed them and the 3rd is waiting for a delivery to arrive before canceling! We have a family plan with AT&T with 4 lines with no contracts…moving to Credo and getting new phones this week! An app called “Goods Unite Us” will tell you what companies are giving money to which Political Party.
I’m so disgusted, literally nauseated 🤢 by what is about to happen to our country! I’m angry and disappointed that so many people have been duped by a known conman and have chosen to listen to his crazy BS lies over their own fellow Americans warnings! I’m hurt that they believe, or choose to believe that WE are their enemies! And I’m embarrassed that our country is going from the strongest country in the world to the butt of all jokes! Democrats continue to believe that if they play to his good nature, he will have an awakening! I’m not a psychologist, but, I was married to a covert narcissist for almost 15 years. I started going to a therapist because I thought I was the problem. After getting to know me for almost a year, my therapist told me what I was dealing with. At that point, I was married for a little over 10 years. I tried everything to change him including treating him the way he treated me. By the time I realized he was incapable of change, I had nothing more to give and was an empty shell, lost! After a couple of years since our divorce was finalized, I was finally getting to know myself again and was even ready to set a goal. I wanted to go back to school to become a therapist, possibly an addiction specialist! And now, I’m not so sure that’s in my future because a bunch of wealthy narcissistic plutocrats want to rule over us! 🤬 no….
When I saw the news that they were making a film about Melania, I thought they meant a Michael Moore-type expose. I couldn't believe anyone would make a movie about her that was flattering. Obviously my brain hasn't caught up to the horrendous reality of the situation. But this too will pass. Overreach never leads to success. These people will be the cause of their own demise.
And all the MAGA evangelical traitors who voted for trump are saying AMEN. That is the real religion they profess and they want a government where they can exploit their fellow man, rob him of his money, and even kill or mane them as long as it is for their own economic or security needs.

I am in Alabama and I didn't vote. There was simply no choice. I don't believe in the policies of either candidate.
