Agree! I know it is devastating me, but I am connected enough to understand its corporate greed. Most just immediately go after the President and most consider the high prices as “The Economy”. He needs to double down on the greedflation and ALSO point out that is why the corporate elite are filling right-wing campaign pockets with $- to avoid having to pay “ their fair share! That is the ONLY reason they want Trump back, otherwise they know he’s dangerous. But their greed “trumps” ALL!
Agree. Inflation is hurting Joe Biden every time people take a trip to the grocery store or any retailer. It is not fair to blame the president, but that is what happens. Jimmy Carter lost his re-election, in part, because of inflation. Everyone feels it, and the greed aspect must be addressed. And everyone also knows the actual inflation is worse than what official figures indicate and what is especially bad for Biden is that Seniors are feeling the pressure. Not good.
President Biden needs to mention greedflation more in his campaign messaging and speeches and specifically tie it to huge corporate profits, Convicted Felon DJT supporting CEOs, tax breaks for the wealthy, and corporate stock buybacks.
Democrats need to do this across the board. Unfortunately, some candidates and some in the DNC are holding back because of their own corporate ties, fearing biting the hand that feeds them.
Kochflation - they enrich themselves (and their Republican tool campaign funds) with profits from your hard earned dollars, while skipping out on asbestos victim payments and taxes. Quit buying their products!
Thank you, ditto, I watched their prices triple in ‘20 and even after Biden got into office and improved the supply chain issues from the prior administration fouling (of everything) they only went down to double pre ‘20 prices. Republicans are the problem.
Yes, but Biden is too much of a Corporate Democrat at core to blame corporations, I fear—something those who paint him as "The Reincarnation of FDR" need to hear.
I'm shocked he's gone as far as to propose raising taxes on them, honestly!
Americans may see a closer connection between "the profit of numerous corporations vs costs of goods" than a connection between "Biden vs costs of goods."
Greedflation may be the top issue for many, but the abortion bans have been really hard on families in a different way. What I suddenly see is that in our country money is the most important thing there is. I agree that corporations need to be confronted and held to account for their prices and for insisting on outlandish profits that hurt most people, but at least to me, money isn't the most important issue out there. Democracy, people's rights of all sorts, are far more important. But until those corporations and the supreme court are held to account, anything but money will probably go to the wayside.
Greedflation - The term used by people whose only reasons to exist are to generate Hatred, Envy, Resentment and Bitterness and to Eat & Shit.
Often these folks are adverse to any kind of success. They view others who are more successful than them as bitter reminders of what a small life that they have lived professionally, in relationships and intellectually.
They almost always will punch up because it is difficult for them to find any other people who are inferior to themselves.
Small people. Small, petty, life.
"A great man is hard on himself, while a small man is hard on others." - Confucius
A primary example of greedflation is gentrification of neighborhoods and so-called
"development" of towns and cities without the input of its citizens. Ballots are useless, as these deals are completed before the inhabitants have a chance to participate in such decisions.
Biden needs to increase his verbal flames at corporations and point his finger at trump and republicons for being so soft on corporate crime. This could be the best and most successful attack on the billionaires ever if the Democrats get serious about being on the offense permanently.
I have seen signs of Democrats finding their most effective attacks, but it has taken wa-ay too long.
Democrats, get vicious for a change, Republicons have shown the way. Stop going high, get down in the trenches and duke it out with the bullies and cowards.
Health Insurance providers are the greatest offenders of this “greedflation”.

A big issue for the majority of Americans! This should be a Giant Target for the Democrats from now to the November election to pound on.

We stopped buying Koch products several years ago. One of the best decisions we've ever made.

Greedfiation is destroying our nation.

I think slamming greedflation can work.

It's ironic that the Maggots want "less" Government while screaming about the effects of Oligopolies and Monopolies. So uninformed.
