Some, yes, but I think that he and the SCOTUS (especially SCOTUS) are in the pockets of the Heritage Foundation. From what I've been learning, some version of this "mandate for leadership" has been around since the Reagan era. A lot of what's wrong with our country today is that Reagan used a lot of their ideas in his presidency.

I see your point. From what I've read in Project 2025, the current incarnation, the "mandate for leadership" started around Reagan's time. They are all about taking us back several hundred years, so their insecure selves can own whoever they want, and they are just fine with being slave owners (except they are certain that they have no responsibility to take care of their slaves in any fashion).
