This week the House GOP leadership—by way of their 30 member GOP Steering Committee--made their selections for chairs of the 17 House committees. Did they pick people who stood up for democracy against Donald Trump’s attempted coup?

Do you understand how our constitution and government work? It was designed for us to question and demand answers. That’s the only way to keep our government honest. It is not honest now because we allowed these politicians to take more and more power away from “We the people”. Jim Jordan was a "significant player" in a coup. He organized meetings and helped plot the Jan 6 coup attempt. He should be in jail--as should all involved in that coup. There's no "both sides" or gray to this. You are with the US or with Trump. Those are the lines
