The DOJ does not want to charge ,at this point, a sitting member Congress over “politics “ They need a GUILTY conviction of the BOWM to start to clear out the rot that sits in Congress stewing in the effluent of their own creation. This is the inescapable conclusion from mainstream and lefty media that takes no account whatsoever about what actually happened or happens in the doj. There are 10 or more fairly mainstream legal shows/podcasts (top prosecutors and defense attorneys) that are pretty much agreed on so much of the analysis of why any cases brought against members of congress need to wait. We also have a problem in that media accounts (esp thom Hartmann) fail to cover any details of the Georgia and dc indictments, have no analysis of the massive conspiracy organized by chesebro and Eastman, and people are still thinking of Jan 6 crimes as a breach of the Capitol building rather than the more important legal violations emanating from chesebro's plan - barely even mentioned in much mainstream or lefty media.
I honestly believe that Jack Smith plans to indict those unnamed co- conspirators once Trump is convicted as this will strengthen his case against them. He is hoping that some will come forward and turn against Trump, but I don't think Jim Jordan will be one of them. He thinks Trump will win the election and elevate him and pardon everyone involved. Ha, Jimmy Boy, Trump doesn't give a flying F about you. 🙄
Because of Trump's true weaponization of the DoJ, Dems are particularly reluctant to take these actions. The difference is that these people threaten to destroy the country in pursuit of unchecked power.

I completely agree. I feel it is a crime itself that Garland's DOJ is not charging people like Jordan in a timely manner. Jordan's continued position in government continues to put our democracy at risk.

Where is the DOJ, why hasn't he been indicted...why is he in Congress...this is such a mess and so upsetting...the country is in such dangerous times
