But I 100% believe there will be more MAGA terrorism in the service of Trump--especially after Trump loses in November. That is EXACTLY what Trump wants. That is why he vows to pardon the Jan 6 terrorists--it's designed to incentivize more violence by MAGA. And I don't believe all of MAGA would commit violence but clearly some will. And just like any other domestic terrorist threat, MAGA must be surveilled by law enforcement.
This article has really triggered the traitors of MAGA- and that is how view MAGA. To me they are no different than supporters of Al Qaeda in that they support a man in Trump who waged a terrorist attack on our Capitol on Jan 6. I will block any MAGA supporter just as I would block an Al Qaeda supporter.
My fear is that either way, the MAGA horde turns violent after the election either because Dump loses again and he claims it was stolen...again...or because Dump has won and they decide to go on a campaign of revenge and retribution on his behalf. My god, how did we get here? This all traces back to an incredibly insecure little man. Genetic? A twisted father? Perhaps he was mocked as a child. Maybe even - and very likely - by women. Who has always bullied; always lied; mostly failed; yet, because of the expansiveness of an over-the-top personality, pervasive media, a gullible public (let's hear it for education), he is aiming at the nation's Top Job, again. His love of dictators is to be expected. He has used the perception of strength for years, short changing suppliers, voiding contracts, overstating wealth, leveraging bigger edifices, amassing conquests - the only ways he could achieve control. And now, gathering a horde of angry people who see his "success" as the way to achieve their own disparate goals, he sets up to dispense retribution to those who have angered this little man. No affront is too small, no political gain at his expense too insignificant to hold back the threat of violence in return. All this immediate mess, as the press has followed every nuance of his outrageous life, and as the Trump Train gathered steam in earlier years, is destroying the country; a long, national nightmare. The lack of his talent, education, compassion, and just common sense are being colored out by this shitshow he has created. Another Trump presidency is more than this now fragile country can bear. Damn I'll be glad when we don't have to mention his name.
If trump were to win, I wonder how his supporters would feel when they finally learned the hard way that he was the one taking away their democracy? Do they have any idea of what it is like to live in Russia, or vote at gunpoint as they are currently doing in Ukraine? Would they really roll over and not be angry any longer? Agree that the AG bears much responsibility for his procrastinated and pathetically slow response to Trump’s Jan 6th ‘21 insurrection and theft of classified and top secret documents. Now with these latest Trump remarks predicting civil war as well as a “blood bath”, if these remarks are not borderline treason and/or sedition, I don’t know what is. Merrick Garland, as should all of us, knows by now to take Trump’s words (even the most outrageous) at face value and treat them seriously. I’m a strong advocate of free speech, but fomenting civil war and its death and destruction is not protected free speech (much like yelling “fire” in a crowded movie theatre is not). Trump is a proven traitor to our country. It’s that plain, obvious, and simple.
Trump is indeed desperate because he knows he is guilty of everything he's been accused of doing. He's desperate to avoid prison and losing everything. And, desperate people do desperate things. Waiting to see if he gets bailed out of not having the funds needed to cover the over 400 million he owes in order to appeal.
I don’t think tRump is going to even try and win the election fairly. His base alone is simply not enough. What we’re seeing is a slow motion coup of the US.

It's absolutely amazing to me how much mileage Trump gets by just (like some stupid, little kid) mindlessly throwing right back at his critics the exact same charge they've made against him!!! Who ever expects an adult to do that?!!
I agree that there aren't enough of them for large scale violence, but there are certainly enough of them to wreak havoc in their communities. They will hurt people. I think the Lincoln Project needs to do some ads showing video of each 1/6 guy and then their mug shot and prison sentence just to remind people what could happen. Also, these videos would show that Trump did not support them when it came time to pay for their crimes.
