Thomas needs to recuse himself or be removed. This case needs to be heard NOW not on April 22. Why are we not doing this? The House of Representatives are crippling us, the Senate blocked our right to have our justice confirmed and now this SCOTUS debacle. We need to do what John Lewis told us to do: “Speak up, speak out, get in the way. Get in good trouble, necessary trouble, and help redeem the soul of America.” Then in November, and in EVERY ELECTION, VOTE!!!
There’s too much learned helplessness and paralysis in American society. Nobody wants to make the steep personal sacrifices required to push for the common good because who wants to fight for a country where it’s clear one side doesn’t even see the other as fully human, much less a “true American.”
