Those of us who are not straight white men need to think about what this country will look like for us. Even more of our rights will be gone. Will we be able to drive? Work? Certainly not vote. Will there even be any elections?
One good thing about democracy ending in this time in history is there is plenty of video. It's not like future historians will be trying to dig up letters from people to find out what they were thinking.
There is no way they are taking this case unless they are giving Trump immunity. None. So, does that mean Biden will have immunity? What if Biden says he's not leaving if he loses. What would happen then?
Merrick “Glitter-boy” Garland is truly to blame for all of this. He dragged his feet and gave trump time to run out the clock. He should be forcibly ejected from the US for the rest of his days along with the Supreme Court justices that are playing along.
This corrupt SCOTUS seems determined to burn what few shreds of integrity, honesty and credibility they had to the ground to protect ANOTHER criminal Republican president. America needs to wake up to the fact that EVERY Republican president since Nixon has committed criminal acts either in office or to attain office or both. Every.Single.One.Of. Them! And none of them has been held to account. Why would Trump be any different?
But it looks like the state of New York is going to step up. Tish James is going to leave Trump penniless and Alvin Bragg is going to send him to Attica.
The biggest march on Washington needs to happen. For those who cannot attend, the biggest march to their state Supreme Court. Millions and millions need to be heard by SCOTUS. Thomas needs to recuse himself or be removed. This case needs to be heard NOW not on April 22. Why are we not doing this? The House of Representatives are crippling us, the Senate blocked our right to have our justice confirmed and now this SCOTUS debacle. We need to do what John Lewis told us to do: “Speak up, speak out, get in the way. Get in good trouble, necessary trouble, and help redeem the soul of America.” Then in November, and in EVERY ELECTION, VOTE!!!
