I may be reaching…However I believe that Trump is going to be thrown to the wolves by his own party. I said from the beginning that he will be protected as long as he’s useful. And if something comes out that is so horrific they will not go down with him. When I predicted this to family and friends…BOY !!! I had no idea that it would be as horrible as this. The GOP is imploding because they picked up a snake and put him in their pocket…KNOWING …That Trump is a snake.

My dearest wish is to see Trump given the Mussolini treatment by a mob of angry MAGAts. A fitting end to one who is bent on destroying this nation.

Carol's avatar

Annnnneeee don’t threaten me with a good time 😂

Anne Gayler's avatar

Drinks afterwards on me!

Trump is a snake with an uncanny survival instinct. I'm not sure this takes him out although it certainly should. But then again Access Hollywood, or emoluments, or insurrection, or E. Jean Carroll, or 32 felony convictions, or, or, or...should have taken him out.

Carol's avatar

I agree however pedophiles have always been hated by society and is where most people draw the line. So here’s to hoping that this will take him and all involved out.

mark's avatar

Pedophiles are at the bottom of prison social order. Normally they need to be segregated from the general prison population to keep them safe from the other prisoners who hate them.

kdsherpa's avatar

"need to be" -- but often aren't

Lesley H.'s avatar

Which is really uncalled for- pedophiles are the last people who should be protected from anything or anyone. They are monsters.

Scott K.'s avatar

Beware Shady Vance, wholly owned by Peter Thiel, who de facto created him as a politician. The RockBridge Network is busy behind the scenes, preparing to assume power.

Lesley W's avatar

We need to impeach for treason. The entire regime will be removed.

Ms.JP's avatar

I really hope you’re right, so far their morality Has really defied imagination, If rump has done anything, he has shown us the depths to which this party will go

Ben Robertson's avatar

Maybe not so much by his party, but by the oligarchs and other right-wing fanatics behind Project 2025. When they come to understand (and maybe they have already) that t**** has become a threat to their Christofascist autocratic dreams, they will dump him and throw their weight behind the one they really want - the Couchfucker.

The favorite story of DjT, the woman and the snake…. Always confession….

SRC's avatar

We’ve known this for a long time. And whatever transcripts are released from the DOJ now we are going to know they have been altered. That’s why they’ve been hanging onto them for so long. I’m sure at some point. They will release them, but it’s after they remove any mention of Trump. I knew from day one when Epstein died in prison that Trump was the culprit.

Robot Bender's avatar

I'm sure there are copies out there. The files are just too good for blackmail.

Shelby Schneider's avatar

I think and so hope so re copies!!

With 1000 people scanning the Epstein docs and not even ONE leaker?????

Betsyann Thornton's avatar

And what about his first wife? “Tripped on the stairs and broke her neck” then he buried her on his golf course where he and his cronies can drive over her grave!!! It’s sacrilegious at best!

Carol's avatar

I believe she received a blow to the head and was dead before she hit the ground. The fall down the stairs …likely staged because the coffee cup wasn’t broken.ijs

Catherine Walters's avatar

And then she was cremated, and, for some reason, the ashes were placed in a big coffin that was so heavy, the pallbearers could barely carry it down the stairs and into the hearse. Wonder what was stuffed into that coffin?

Robert's avatar

No. According to reports, she died of blunt force trauma to her torso. Not a broken neck. I wasn't a pathologist, but as an emergency department physician for almost 20 years I think she was beaten then placed at the bottom of the stairs to simulate an accident. Trump (or his good friend Putin) certainly knew people who could do it.

Jim's avatar

Are you still babbling about a Putin connection? Did the "Russiagate" scam permanently break your brain? What makes you think a murder like this would require going outside the US, as if there aren't plenty of thugs (many of them connected to our "intelligence community") perfectly capable of doing the deed?

Robert's avatar

Clearly your reading comprehension skills are lacking, Jim. I clearly said "Trump (parenthetical phrase) certainly knew people who could do it." Trump was perfectly capable of hiring people who could arrange for it.

But it's interesting that you are defending Putin. Is your real name Vladimir? Separate investigations identified Russia's interference in the 2016 election. And several allies with Trump have had intimate ties with Russia. Just ask Grok https://x.com/i/grok/share/WOiWcTXezCSb2NvNZYBDCbPBp

Jim's avatar

My reading comprehension skills are just fine. You included an absolutely bullshit parenthetical phrase, harkening back to the years of long-disproven Russiagate nonsense. By your own admission, Trump had the means to do this nefarious deed without any fantastical stretch to boogie-man Putin.

And look at you here: an immediate leap, assuming that anyone not frothing at the mouth over Putin, or Russia, must therefore be "defending" them. If you're looking for real foreign interference in US elections, acting through both the Democrats and Republicans, Israel is the source. Hell, Ukrainian oligarchs had far more to do with US elections than "Putin" or "Russia" ever did. A few social media posts from a click-bait outfit, posts that almost no one even saw, does not qualify as "Russian interference in the 2016 election." The DNC conniving to crush the Sanders campaign so as to anoint Queen Hillary is what led to Trump's first term. Idiotic defense of a clearly mentally incompetent Biden, and then rigging the game to put Kamala Harris as the candidate, guaranteed Trump's second term.

Robert's avatar

Both the Mueller Report and the bipartisan Senate Intelligence Committee say Russia interfered with the 2016 election. I will side with them over some loudmouth Putin-loving jerk. As the saying goes, never argue with idiots; they'll drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

Bak1650's avatar

Remember when Epstein died, they went immediately to the Clintons as some sort of conspiracy…the quick accusation makes much more sense…this is how he always covers his tracks when he is guilty.

Phgladko's avatar

Since no one seems to be following the rules these days, then let's go ahead and indict a sitting president for crimes committed while he was not the president and therefore not covered by the SCOTUS's "presidential acts" bullshipt.

Phgladko's avatar

With the Epsrein files coming out, there will be many repugs abandoning ship.

Is there anyone anywhere who doesn't understand that Trump, who was a close friend of Epstein, is involved in this? How much more evidence do people need? The bigger question is how did such a massive cover up go on for so long? So many people are involved or knew about it.

Robert's avatar

Obviously it's due to huge amounts of money from very wealthy and powerful men to pay people to be quiet.

Declan's avatar

The methodology is Putinesque.

Dan Beach's avatar

Absolutely, Kremlin or IDF.

Anne Gayler's avatar

Indeed. I find it interesting that there was no investigation of the prison guards who allowed Epstein to "strangle himself". He was supposed to be on suicide watch. I bet Ghislane will lie like crazy in order to be rewarded by Trump with a get-out-of-jail-free card.

Charles G Haacker's avatar

The price she will pay is to keep her mouth shut forever, or he will arrange for it to be shut-- forever. She knows Epstein was no suicide.

David Glaser's avatar

I don’t care how you slice it, these crimes are not contained within Presidential immunity. You stupid piece of filth, you are going down. It’s just a matter of time. May all those who cling to you like pieces of lint and irrelevant garbage go down with you.

Jon Notabot's avatar

I believe that Epstein collected decades of kompromat on powerful people and regimes across the world. Who were Epstein's benefactors? I believe it to be the fanatical hard-right political establishment currently posing as Israel's government. No one, and I mean not a single wealthy nation on this planet has made any meaningful criticism or condition on Israel's relentless campaign of war crimes, mass surveillance or violent settler's movements. No one dares say a thing, because Israel is in possession of Epstein's entire body of intel - which I believe includes dirt on far more people than our Pedophile Nazi in Chief, Donald J Trump.

US Blues's avatar

Putin seems to be involved as well. The whole thing just reeks of nastiness.

Holli's avatar

This is exactly it. Netanyahu and Putin find blackmailing Trump and others in powerful positions a useful tool. This has been a long game. Voter suppression and social media corruption goes back to the Kremlin, while suspicious deaths seem to trail back to IDF.

Linda Heath's avatar

Good job, laying out the timeline leading up to Epstein's death. This is a keeper!

Philip DeWalt's avatar

Occam’s Razor says amongst all the other things we know he is, he’s also a pedophile and a murderer.

Kathy Maas's avatar

I have always kept my social media “clean” because I want to set a good example for my sons (and that’s pretty much who I am, anyway ;)). I keep thinking about today’s kids exposed to this filthy jerk, and thinking “well, if the president does it…” EVERYTHING about him reeks. Including his body, apparently, but that’s for another day. The f-bombs, the craven comments about women, the character slandering of anyone who asks him a question that may expose him, his mannerisms (thinking about his gestures with a microphone, trying to kiss inappropriately, etc.), the nasty nicknames for anyone who opposes him, the disparaging comments about anything and everything, blaming others for his failures. As Joe Biden would say, “Grow up, man!” And get the heck out of the WH!

US Blues's avatar

Yep. We have a real problem with misogyny that is only getting worse in this society because our government is being “led” by misogynists and pedophiles. Thanks for trying to raise boys who will hopefully be healthy men.

jesse salisbury's avatar

we also need to do a deep dive into trumps AG Bill Barr who acted as damage control and personal lawyer and who went after Epstein and who was in control of him while in prison, after Epstein was found after was was seen as a staged suicide attempt to get a transfered from the jail. it looked like an assault by another inmate.

After a mental health evaluation where he told an evaluator he had a "wonderful life" and would never kill himself and didnt even know what had happened to him . Epstein was removed from suicide watch by a doctoral-level psychologist after only 31 hours. He was placed on psychiatric observation instead. where again , he was put in a position where there was no working cameras or monitors to prove what had actually happened to him and only a pile of bullshit stories . Bill Barrs dad had given Epstein a job at his ivy league school, even though he had no teaching credentials , where it seems Epstein was found to be cruising student parties . was Bill Barrs dad complicit or compromised ? it sure seems there are some red flags there and elsewhere. seems trump and barr had both motive and means .

Thinkaboutit's avatar

It was an elite high school in New York City called Dalton. It’s not a college, but still yes, pretty

weird tie-in: Barr’s dad was principal. And Epstein’s job teaching at an elite prep school without a college degree? Very strange indeed.

jesse salisbury's avatar

i stated it was a school, not a college . and i said he didnt have credentials to teach, but you are correct , that he also didnt even have a college degree. Bill Barr is like Forest Gump for the dark side. he has had his hands in many very questionable acts, coming to the aid of despots in our government. he has been damage control for republican super villians for more than 40 years.

Vanessa Sheridan's avatar

If you believe Epstein actually "committed suicide," then you probably also believe in the Easter Bunny. Trump and other powerful people viewed Epstein as a danger, so they managed to have him "commit suicide" before he could spill the beans. And if I were Ghislaine Maxwell, I'd watch my back. She knows a lot and could be dangerous, too. She might end up "committing suicide" as well, if you know what I mean.

Sharon Fiyalka's avatar

Keep looking at the emails. Epstein knew Peter Thiel well. You know…Vance’s mentor. And then there is Ken Starr.

Jim's avatar

And Larry Summers. Somehow you folks keep forgetting him. Must be his Democratic Party connections...

Leigh Horne's avatar

Do you think a real investigation will ever be conducted? Certainly not under current circumstance, I believe. Sometimes, when I think about the next congress and what will be on its plate, my head reels. Re-establishing the rule of law (which means fixing the SCOTUS, the DOJ and the DOD among other things), reinstating social support systems, protecting future elections and, probably (If he lives that long) impeaching Trump and/or JD Vance for crimes against humanity and the republic.)

Marc R Hapke's avatar

They will use the excuse they used after Watergate. To spare the Country the agony of what essentially amounted to "discovery" in the legal sense of the term. That and the excuse that there will be so many other things to fix after the T2 administration in order to "restore America to its rightful place in world affairs." The reality is, if we ever move beyond Trump's despotism, we have decades of work ahead of us to restore our credibility as a serious nation. We desperately need to begin to expunge the rot that the republicans have wreaked on us before we do anything else.

Leigh Horne's avatar

You are so right. Having said that, I am more than ready to see one or more of these felons end up in prison. And disgraced. As in, Trump doesn't get that flying palace an we can spray paint his ballroom bubblegum pink.
