Trump’s dementia is a threat to the world-he must be removed from office!

We are way beyond discussing how the Iran war will impact US politics, gas prices, the midterms, etc. We have a demented, sociopath of a President in control of the most lethal military in the world who is becoming more detached from reality by the day. At this point, “the survival of humanity is at stake.”
That was the very words of Dr. John Gartner, the co-founder of “Duty To Warn” in our conversation earlier this week. And I can assure you he was not being over the top.
In our conversation, Doctor Gartner raised this red flag, “You know where I think we’re really seeing the most serious manifestation of his dementia?” He added, “It is the Iran war.”
First, as the Doctor noted, Trump went to war on “impulse.” He continued, Trump “didn’t bring along any allies, he didn’t prevent any evidence, he didn’t prepare the American people. He didn’t do anything.”
And the reason—per Dr. Gartner—is more alarming than you think. It’s not just because Trump views himself as a king who doesn’t need to get his “subjects” (you and I) on board.
Rather, as Dr. Gartner opined, “He’s not thinking it through because he’s not capable of actually processing what’s even happening.” He added, Trump “just had an angry impulse” –perhaps to distract from the Epstein files—so he started this horrific war. From a psychological point of view, Gartner described Trump as “a raging id with no frontal lobes.” (In other words, Trump is ruled only by his whims at that moment with no regard for the consequences.)
Then came perhaps Dr. Gartner’s most frightening warning about Trump. He noted that that Trump is increasingly becoming a “sadistic animal” who is “becoming more and more cruel and animal-like as his frontal lobes deteriorate.” (Frontal lobe deterioration is often seen in people with dementia and is manifested by loss of impulse control, impaired judgment, easy to be distracted, loss of empathy and more that we all see with Trump.)
Yes, Dr. Gartner now views Trump as “sadistic animal.” This matters not just to us but the world because as Gartner explained, “If you’re a sadistic animal, then killing people and blowing up makes you feel better.” Think about that last line for a moment. We have a “President” who enjoys “killing,” blowing things up and otherwise embracing a level of cruelty seen in truly dangerous people.
This is all consistent with Trump on Wednesday in his national address threatening to bomb Iran “back to the stone ages.” That is not a comment that we’ve never heard from past US Presidents during war.
But on Sunday morning, Trump posted an unhinged post that was even more concerning. He wrote a threat directed to the Iranian regime that read, “Open the Fuckin’ Strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in Hell--JUST WATCH!” He then bizarrely added, “Praise be to Allah.”
Trump’s post was both pathetic and dangerous. The pathetic part is that we’ve never seen a US president literally falling apart on the world stage where he lashes out with his profanity laced demands in this way. This is not “Trump, being Trump,” this is a cognitively impaired President freaking out because he can’t get his way.
The dangerous aspect is obvious. Trump is now openly threatening to commit war crimes by vowing to destroy Iran’s civilian power plants—which will cause massive suffering to the Iranian people. Milena Sterio, a Cleveland State University law professor who specializes in international law stated that the bombing of civilian targets, including those in Iran is, “a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law” and “would give rise to a war crime.”
In fact, Russian military officials were charged with war crimes by the International Criminal Court for directing widespread attacks on Ukraine’s power infrastructure which caused excessive harm to civilians. Of course, in reality Trump will never be held accountable for these war crimes the same way he was never held accountable for his attempted coup and inciting the Jan. 6 terrorist attack.
When I asked Dr. Gartner if Trump’s cognitive decline is a national security concern, he responded passionately: “It’s a national security nightmare. It’s a national security 50-alarm fire!” He then added this bone-chilling line, “We’re on the precipice of what could be a world war and the person who has all the decision-making power is demented and evil.”
Recent polls back up the Dr’s observations as our fellow Americans are clearly alarmed by what they are seeing with Trump’s mental and physical decline. A Washington Post-ABC News-Ipsos poll in February before the war found majorities of Americans said Trump didn’t have the mental sharpness (56%) or physical health (51%) it takes to serve effectively. In 2023, only about 35% of Americans held that view.
Even some Republicans are getting this. On Sunday, former GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene responded to Trump’s Easter morning post vowing to commit war crimes by calling Trump “insane.” Her post read: “Everyone in his administration that claims to be a Christian needs to fall on their knees and beg forgiveness from God and stop worshipping the President and intervene in Trump’s madness.” She added, “I know all of you and him and he has gone insane, and all of you are complicit.”
Add to that a recent Reuters-Ipsos poll among Republicans and Republican-leaning independents found that those who are “very confident” in Trump’s mental fitness has dropped in past year from 75% to 66%. On physical fitness, Trump dropped from 65% to 55%.
As deeply concerning as Trump’s dementia is today, the reality is that it’s going to get worse—100 percent! Dr. Gartner told me that point blank, “Look at Donald Trump today. That’s the best Donald Trump you’re ever gonna see, because his dementia is only gonna get worse.” This is true given dementia is a condition that tragically gets worse each day—as I saw first-hand with my late mother.
When I asked Dr. Gartner if Trump is “unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office”—which is the standard for removing a President under the 25th Amendment—he responded: “Absolutely.”
The issue before us is: How do we save our nation and the world from this demented sociopath?! As I keep stating, we at least need Democrats in one voice to demand Trump be impeached and removed. In addition, call for Trump to removed by way of the 25th Amendment. And urge our Western allies to sanction Trump, his cabinet and oligarchs just as they did to Putin after he attacked Ukraine.
It’s unclear if any of these approaches will stop Trump. But doing nothing increases the the threat Trump poses to humanity. We can’t be silent!

Is there ANYONE that is not in the crosshairs?. MAGA itself will be decimated by the healthcare cuts alone. Trump is insane but he is not the only one.
