Superman just Punched Trump and MAGA in the face!

Look! Up in the sky! It's a bird! It's a plane! Is it Superman? Nope, it’s just MAGA tears raining down after their horrible week! In fact, this might have been Donald Trump and MAGA’s worst week ever.
First, there was the Trump coverup of the Jeffrey Epstein files that triggered MAGA world in ways I’ve never seen. And the anger continued to build on Sunday! As I wrote earlier in the week, whatever is in that file is so horrible for Trump, that he’s willing to piss off his base to keep it from the public!
If that wasn’t bad enough to for Trump and MAGA, then came their outrage over the new reboot of “Superman.” Why was MAGA triggered with the release of the new Superman? (In reality, MAGA is angry at everything that is not them!) Simple, the film’s director James Gunn declared while promoting the film that “Superman is the story of America,” adding, “An immigrant that came from other places and populated the country.” Gunn continued, “But for me it is mostly a story that says basic human kindness is a value and is something we have lost.”
Damn, that pissed off MAGA! The idea that Superman could be an immigrant sent many of them into a tizzy. (Of course, to MAGA, Jesus was born in Iowa, wrapped in American flag and then driven home in a Ford F-150 pick-up truck while Toby Keith music was playing!) Add to that, Gunn’s comment that we should show “human kindness” to those immigrants—or anyone for that matter—also angered the crap out of MAGA.
Fox News kicked off the parade of outrage last Monday by labeling the new movie “Superwoke” with the on-air banner reading: “Iconic hero movie to embrace pro-immigrant themes.” Fox News resident moron Jessie Watters stated on air, “You know what it says on his cape? MS-13.” Fox host Greg Gutfeld accused Gunn of trying to create a “moat of woke, enlightened opinion around him.”
Former Trump aide Kellyanne Conway-remember that dummy?!—said on Fox News, “We don’t go to the movie theater to be lectured to and to have somebody throw their ideology onto us,” as she predicted (hoped) the movie would not do well at the box office because of the kind embrace of immigrants.
Trump loving actor Dean Cain—I wish he didn’t have the same first name as me-- who portrayed Superman in the ’90s, blasted Gunn’s comments during an interview with TMZ. Cain was outraged because James Gunn said the story is “an immigrant thing.” Cain—like others on the right—warned that due to this “wokeness” “it’s going to hurt the numbers on the movie.” Other MAGA influencers online also made it clear this film is “woke” and didn’t have the MAGA white supremacist seal of approval.
Then on Thursday, Trump himself tried to add fuel to the fire when the White House released a doctored photo of Trump as Superman on social media which read, “THE SYMBOL OF HOPE. TRUTH. JUSTICE. THE AMERICAN WAY. SUPERMAN TRUMP.”
You see, Trump—not the new “woke” guy—is the real Superman. However, the response was not as Trump hoped as Superman fans of all backgrounds “punched” Trump in the face by way of tsunami of mocking taunts. Many of the comments invoked the Epstein files such as, “Superman would drop the Epstein list." While others noted Superman was an “illegal immigrant” that Trump would deport.
No doubt Trump and MAGA would’ve preferred Superman being played by human gargoyle Stephen Miller who then defeats the Brown immigrants trying to come to America to make a better life! In fact, don’t be surprised if we see in the future some type of pro-white supremacist MAGA superhero. (I know what you are thinking: Isn’t that Trump?!)
Obviously, Trump and MAGA were hoping the new Superman film would bomb. Well on Sunday, we got the verdict when the weekend box office numbers were released. And it’s more bad news for the Superman hating cretins of MAGA.
Variety summed it up well in their article Sunday reporting on the opening weekend box office numbers: “Superman can lift up collapsing buildings, Godzilla-sized monsters and, now, the box office.” The new film starring David Corenswet as Superman raked in $122 million domestically—with a worldwide box office of $220 million in just the first few days of release.
For context, the new “woke” Superman brought in the biggest domestic opening weekend of any other superhero movie in 2025. More impressive, the new film was the largest box office total of any prior stand-alone Superman movie ever. (And there have been a ton of past Superman movies.) It’s also the first DC Comic title to cross $100 million in eight years since Wonder Woman debuted to $103.3 million in 2017.
First, the Epstein file cover up and now Superman just kneed them in the groin.
But to be honest, MAGA not liking Superman is no surprise given the character’s origin story. No, I don’t just mean that Superman was born on the planet Krypton and was sent to Earth in a “hastily devised space-ship” just as his planet was exploding in search of a better life. That immigrant story alone pisses them off.
But also because Superman was introduced to America in 1938 by Jerry Siegel and Canadian born Joe Shuster—both Jewish—just as the Nazis were ravaging Europe. The very first comic books in the series depicted Superman battling generic soldiers clad in “suspiciously Nazi-like helmets.” By 1940, after the Nazis invaded Poland, the comic book series made it clear that Superman was indeed fighting the Nazis—including one issue where Superman was depicted as disabling a Nazi artillery crew by bending their cannon barrel in half.
The truth is that many in MAGA openly admire the white supremacist agenda and cruelty that were Nazi trademarks. Let’s be blunt: If Trump were President in the 1930’s does anyone doubt that Trump—and MAGA-- would’ve sided with Hitler and Mussolini over the Allied powers?!
In addition, in 1946, Superman in the very popular radio serial, “The Adventures of Superman” helped a Chinese-American family against violent bigots after they move to a white neighborhood in Metropolis in a story titled, “The Clan of the Fiery Cross.” And in 2020, DC comics released a graphic novel for young people titled, “Superman Smashes the Klan.”
You know that Trump and MAGA hate all of that!
Poor, pathetic MAGA. They thought they could defeat the “Man of Steel.” In reality, they have a better chance of defeating their “Man of McDonalds” by getting him to release the Epstein files. But overall, it’s great to see Superman punch MAGA—and in turn Trump—right in the face!
