It’s Saturday which means it’s time for me to share a few of the most interesting, informative and entertaining political interviews of the week from my SiriusXM show.  Today’s interviews span the gambit including the next US Senator from Maryland to a Doctor who shared the horrors of Gaza to comedians delivering the weekly round up of the week’s news. Plus a bonus interview from March of one the people on VP Harris’s short list to be ger running mate.

So here you go:

Angela Alsobrooks, who currently serves as County Executive for Prince George's County, will be the next US Senator from Maryland. At least she must be if we are going to keep control of the Senate. The good news is that she is running ahead of Republican Larry Hogan for this open seat in recent polls but still Hogan is well known as former Governor.  If you interested in helping Angela win, here is her website.

Bonus clip: Pennsylvania Gov Josh Shapiro is on the short list to be Kamala Harris’s running mate. He has been on my show several times as a candidate for governor and since he won. I wanted to share my interview from March where we talked everything from the rivalry between my beloved NY Giants and his Philadelphia Eagles to at the time why he thought Biden would win Pennsylvania in 2024. (This is in no way an endorsement- If I had interviews of the other candidates on the VP short list I would post them as well.)
