I fully agree with you. This is a very melancholy Independence Day for me. I feel betrayed having served our country nearly 40 years in the military. I feel that the country and people that I swore an oath to the Constitution to serve and protect have been betrayed by MAGA and sold to Trump into tyranny and slavery. To consider Trump 'a King', might be apt if the comparison is King Leopold of Belgium during his reign of terror in African colonies, and other 'royal monarchs', with similar histories. Though, more recently, Kings/Queens and the like , have been more tacit rulers, with ceremonial duties, rather than total ruling control. Is the way that Trump has been 'ruling' for correctly described as tyrannical? Tyrant would seem to more accurately describe Trump's vengeful behavior!

I've been told that I have a "challenge mentality" (after I told the police that I chased the neighbor's robber across my lawn). So . . . when Donald Trump asks if the BBB "gives him more power," I say "Hell NO."
