Jeffrey Epstein ran a massive international blackmail ring—that’s why the cover up continues
Epstein survivor Lisa Phillips talks to me about the scandal
Donald Trump is again freaking out over the possibility the House will vote to compel the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files now that Democrat Adelita Grijalva won her special election to Congress on Tuesday. You see, with Grijalva’s win, there will be the requisite 218 people supporting a discharge petition that will mandate a vote in the House to release the Epstein files.
That is why Trump has apparently directed his pet poodle Speaker Mike Johnson to delay swearing in Grijalva to next week or even mid-October despite winning nearly 70% of the vote. Keep in mind, that when Democrat James Walkinshaw won a special election on Sept. 9, Johnson swore him in the very next day. But now with the looming swearing in of Grijalva—who has vowed to sign the Epstein discharge petition—Trump is scared because we may finally see the complete files.
And Trump should be very afraid of what we will learn. Earlier this week I spoke to Epstein survivor Lisa Phillips—who made it crystal clear that Epstein was the mastermind of a massive sex scandal involving countless powerful men from around the globe. (You can watch my interview of Lisa at end of this article.)
Phillips was one of the brave women who stood on Capitol Hill in early September to demand the release of the Epstein files. It was Phillips who made headlines with the comment that she was speaking to the other survivors about making their own list of the powerful men who engaged in sex with the women and children Epstein trafficked. Phillips also challenged the GOP controlled Congress that day with the line, “Congress must choose: will you continue to protect predators, or will you finally protect survivors?”
Despite what Trump and some in the media want you to believe, this case is not about Epstein and his co-conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell recruiting children and women simply to have sex with Epstein. Rather, the two were building a massive international sex ring to blackmail people in power. That is why Donald Trump and many of his allies including in the corporate media—are so desperate to move on from this story.
Phillips—a former model--explained, “Jeffrey wasn’t doing this just for his own sexual gratification. He was building something out.” She then added this stunning line, that Epstein “told me to have things on people, so the young girls were there to serve a purpose, a grander, bigger purpose, darker purpose.”
When I asked her point bank do you mean he had created an international blackmail scheme, she responded, “Well, Dean, I mean, you hit it on the nail there. I mean, that’s exactly what was going on.” Phillips flagged the real question that demands an answer: “How deep it goes, and who’s involved?”
You would think the corporate media would be asking those questions—especially given that Trump’s own DOJ released a memo in July which “confirmed that Epstein harmed over one thousand victims.” Yes, more than one thousand people! As Phillips explained, Epstein “was an international human trafficker, and many around him knew.” She even shared in our interview that, “I had a girlfriend who was made to have sex with a prince.”
She added something else that demands for more attention: Epstein had video cameras everywhere. Phillips stated that Epstein “videoed everything on his island, everything in his house,” all “so he has the proof.” That “proof” of course was for blackmail purposes. Phillips then poised the key question about all these video tapes: “I wonder where that is, Dean?!”
Backing this up was New York Times reporting in August that they had reviewed old photos of Epstein’s New York apartment and noted surveillance cameras around the property — including in multiple bedrooms. Why aren’t members of the media and even elected officials demanding to know where the videos are captured by these cameras?! How many powerful men are seen in those videos with children or women who were trafficked?!
When it came to Donald Trump, Phillips stated that neither she nor the other Epstein survivors she spoke with had seen him at Epstein’s New York apartment during the time they were abused. But Phillips did believe that Trump is one of the people leading the cover up of the files.
Philips correctly noted that Trump had campaigned on releasing the Epstein list. But then that changed—in her view—when “he saw what was in there.” Phillips believed that Trump realized he had to block its release because he was “protecting someone close to him on there--or himself or many others of his friends and people in power.” Phillips added that her conclusion was based on “common sense” --not any inside information. But I think we can agree Phillips is 100% correct.
We are still learning more about the scope of this scandal. On Friday, Democrats on the House Oversight committee released information from the third tranche of documents produced by the Epstein estate. These new documents raise even more questions as they show that Epstein—years after he had already pled guilty and served time for sex crimes—was in communication with GOP powerhouses like Elon Musk, Peter Thiel and Steve Bannon. Specifically, the documents note that Thiel and Bannon had scheduled meetings with Epstein as well as evidence of a pending trip by Elon Musk to Epstein’s Island. (See one document below that references Bannon.)
The documents released on Friday include flight logs noting that Prince Andrew travelled on board Epstein’s private jet and appeared to receive several massages which were paid for with $200 cheques.
Another document produced was a long ledger of payments dated August 9, 2019, that reveals the name “Andrew.” But the names of hundreds of others are redacted. Why?! Who are these people and why is anyone protecting people who paid Epstein money?! (See ledger released Friday below.)
Sara Guerrero, spokeswoman for the Democrats on the House Oversight Committee, urged US Attorney General Pam Bondi to release more files related to Epstein. She stated point blank, “It should be clear to every American that Jeffrey Epstein was friends with some of the most powerful and wealthiest men in the world.”
Guerrero is 100% correct. We can only imagine what else the files will reveal in terms of the international sex ring that served the rich and powerful.
This explains why Trump is so desperate to distract from this—which is why on Saturday he announced sending the US military to occupy Portland despite no violence or riots there.
But we must continue to clamor for these files to be released and pressure Democrats in Congress to do the same. This is much bigger than a political issue. This was a massive sex ring involving children and women trafficked to the rich and powerful. The survivors deserve justice—and we must help deliver that to them!

There are no more rules. We have a convicted criminal living in the White House who makes up and breaks rules as it suits him. Rep. Grijalva should just go to DC to HER office and take HER seat to which she was elected. Make a scene. Cause good trouble.

That's a bullseye. I often wonder for whom in particular Epstein and Maxwell were working on behalf of. I absolutely do not believe they were somehow independently operating a global blackmail factory. There's a much bigger hand behind them, a more powerful beneficiary of the dirt they generated. I look to nation states/ crime syndicates with flags who at present operate with impunity, no matter the atrocity. I can only think of one.
