As I explained on MSNBC to Mehdi Hassan, Merrick Garland’s failure to charge Donald Trump over two years after his attempted coup and Jan 6 terrorist attack is sending a message to our fellow Americans that what Trump did was not that serious. It was. In fact, it was akin to TREASON. Trump waged an attack on democracy. He should have been charged by now.
