Believe Nothing the Trump regime says on any issue. Period.

Frank Figliuzzi on the loss of credibility for the FBI under Trump

Frank Figliuzzi proudly served for 25 years in the FBI—rising to the level of assistant director for counterintelligence. And that’s why it pains him to admit that Trump has caused “the loss of institutional integrity and credibility” at the very FBI he worked at for more than two decades. As Figliuzzi noted after the shooting Wednesday at the Dallas ICE facility: “My social media is filled with people saying, I can’t believe a word that law enforcement is saying right now.”

Let’s be blunt: No one should believe anything the Trump regime states. That of course includes comments made by Trump’s handpicked FBI Director Kash Patel. Only if you see objective, credible evidence backing up the claims of Trump world should you believe it.

That is why it’s simply impossible to trust Trump and his regime at this moment as they discuss the shooting in Dallas. As Frank and I discussed, we heard the Trump official say Wednesday morning that the bullet casings had “anti-ICE” messages on them. Then Patel tweeted out a photo of a bullet casing that literally reads “Anti-ICE.” Common sense makes us question why any person allegedly worked up enough to kill people at ICE facility would not be more worked up in their message such as writing, “F**k ICE.” (See photo Kash Patel released below.)

Adding to the need to question what the Trump regime stated was that DHS posted on their website within a few hours of the shooting the statement: “The shell casings were found with anti-ICE messages on them. This was an attack on ICE law enforcement.”

Look at the first line: “The shell casings were found with anti-ICE messages on them.” The word “messages” is in plural but the Trump regime released a photo that shows just one message. Being a lawyer, I have to say words matter. And they especially matter in the situation of a deadly shooting. Here the Trump regime has put facts second to political spin. They were seeking to paint this shooting as being anti-ICE and carried out by the left.

Now the shooter, Joshua Jahn, may turn out to be anti-ICE, but as of now there is zero evidence to support that. In fact, the more we learn about the 29 year old shooter—a white guy from Texas—the more we hear that he was not political but rather focused on playing online video games and talking about smoking marijuana. His brother Noah told NBC News that that Joshua was not political and “He didn’t have strong feelings about ICE as far as I knew.”

Yet that didn’t stop JD Vance from declaring yesterday that Jahn was a “violent left-wing extremist.” Vance supported that by citing secret evidence that he has seen that has not been revealed to the public.

But keep in mind this is the same Vance who during 2024 election campaign admitted that he would lie if it helped him attract press that helps his political agenda. That occurred when CNN’s Dana Bash called out Vance’s lie that immigrants in Ohio were “eating cats and dogs.” In response, Vance stated point blank: “If I have to create stories so that the American media actually pays attention... that’s what I’m going to do.” (See clip below)

Not to be outdone, Trump wrote on social media that the Dallas shooting “is the result of the Radical Left Democrats constantly demonizing Law Enforcement.”

Again all of this reminds is why we can’t believe anything from the Trump regime. I mean nothing!

Frank and I also discussed Trump designating ANTIFA a domestic terrorist group despite Trump lacking the legal authority to do so. Plus we talked the appalling case of a Florida man who openly spewed anti-Jewish (and anti-gay hate) and was charged with intentionally setting a fire inside a local synagogue just days before the Jewish High Holidays.

Hope you check it out!
